About mapongo
mapongo has been developing electronic building information systems since 2009.
The concept of a rotatable, tiltable, and zoomable 3D building map is unique in Europe and has already won several awards, including the Roland Berger Founder's Award and the Lausitzer Existenzgründer Wettbewerb (LEX) start-up competition.
Our products are continuously being developed and are therefore always up to date. We respond to the needs of our customers and offer them solutions tailored specifically to their requirements.
On November 10, 2010, mapongo received first prize for the best business plan at the Lausitzer Existenzgründer Wettbewerb LEX 2010. On January 18, mapongo was awarded the Roland Berger Founder's Prize 2010 by the BTU Cottbus.
mapongo was founded by Dipl.-Inf. Michael Tauer, Dipl.-Ing. Asja Kasdorf, and Thomas Hölzel. The founders' core competencies lie in the areas of software development, architecture, visualization, and embedded systems. We combine our knowledge in the products of the mapongo building management system and make it available to libraries and shopping centers.
In addition, we collaborate with universities and research institutions. Whatever your needs for our building management system may be, we develop the concept and take care of the implementation. We are also happy to advise you directly at your location.
